SUMMARY: Complies with all principles of Human Rights, D.P.P.C., Department of Developmental Services, the Division of Medical Assistance, and all other applicable funding regulations as adhered to by Lifeworks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage and direct the Millis Bowling program with guidance from the Associate Director of Social and Recreation.
  • Includes communicating with Ryan Family Amusement, communicating cancellations to bowlers and support staff, and planning the end-of-season pizza party.
  • Teach fundamental bowling skills.
  • Support individuals in getting shoes, lane assignments, navigating technical issues, communicating lane issues, and interacting with staff and patrons.
  • Provide a safe environment; ensure areas used are cleaned after use.
  • Communicate with all participants, staff, and community members in a positive manner.
  • Assist participants in abiding by the rules provided by Ryan Family Amusement.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred


  • A copy of a Covid-19 vaccination of two shots will be required
  • Valid and current driver’s license from the state of residency, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  • Requires a legally insured and inspected automobile for use to be presented at work and available for use during working hours. If the program has an agency vehicle, staff are expected to drive it as needed.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background, and driving record check.
