SUMMARY: Facilitated in person with the flexibility to transition to Zoom for COVID Complies with all principles of Human Rights, D.P.P.C., Department of Developmental Services, the Division of Medical Assistance, and all other applicable funding regulations as adhered to by Lifeworks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Manage and direct the Social Club program with guidance from the Associate Director of Social and Recreation.
- Includes scheduling, planning, preparing, and executing activities.
- Teach fundamental social skills.
- Teach and support individuals in cooking, crafting, and games.
- Motivate the participants and encourage their engagement in social interactions in the community.
- Responsible for maintaining program supplies.
- Provide a safe environment; ensure areas used are cleaned after use.
- Communicate with all participants, staff, and community members in a positive manner.
- Assist participants in abiding by the rules provided by First Parish of Westwood.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
Job requirements include:
- A copy of a Covid-19 vaccination of two shots will be required
- High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Car/Valid driver’s license in State of residency.
All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background, and driving record check.
