Pay Rate: $59,380.00

Work Schedule: 56-hour shift /

Sun: (8 am – 9 am /Overnight), Mon: (3 pm – 10 pm), Tues: (2 pm – 9 am), Wed: (2 pm – 7 pm), Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Off

Work Schedule: 40-hour shift

Pay Rate: $46,268.00

Thurs: (1 pm- 10 pm), Fri: (1 pm – 10 pm), Sat: (8 am – 10 pm), Sun: (2 pm – 10 pm)

SUMMARY:

As a Teacher/ Counselor atLifeworks, Inc you will be a direct support professional (DSP) supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential program. You will be working in a beautiful home in the suburban town of Norwood, MA, and receive a signing bonus shortly after joining our team.

All-female residents would need direct personal care!

Job Responsibilities: (Case Management duties) & (Direct Care Work)

  • 100% direct care hands-on
  • Full assistance with toileting, showering, shaving, etc.
  • Driving the handicap van
  • Tracking and recording ISP data
  • Writing Monthly progress notes
  • Attending ISP meetings
  • Completing ISP assessments
  • Assisting with appointments and all follow-up
  • Serving as a contact for other providers (Guardians, Day Program staff, etc.)
  • Cooking, assisting with feeding, etc.
  • Hands-on support with toileting
  • Showering
  • Changing briefs, and colostomy bag if needed!

Requirements:

  • A copy of a Covid-19 vaccination of two shots will be required
  • BA/BS in Human Services / related field or substitute 10 years of related experience with persons with ID/ DD or human services.
  • Valid driver’s license & personal vehicle required
