Accessibility

We strive to keep our website content and services accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. Lifeworks is committed to accessibility best practices by following the principles of universal design.

This Lifeworks website was designed to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0). As our organization grows and changes, we are always aspiring to improve our communications. Please reach out to development@lifeworksarc.org with any questions, feedback or complaints.

Below is a summary of the efforts we have taken to ensure this site is accessible:

Resize text. There is a feature on all pages which allows user to change text size.

This page can be translated into multiple languages.

We have included the WAVE Tool on each page of the website.

Most images are described with text.

Any place where there is a video or a form there are clear instructions on how to play and submit the form on the website.

All pages have a title that describes topic and purpose, and a history of navigation (text) so that users can easily get back to previous pages.

Links are descriptive, we do not use links that use words like “Click here” but rather we use descriptive titles and alt tags.

We are striving to ensure that mobile devices have the same level of accessibility. If you have any issue with a mobile device, accessibility of a link or form, please reach out to us at 781.762.4001; by email at development@lifeworksarc.org or dial for 711 MA relay services (Spanish or English).
